As we reflect on 2025, one theme stands out above all else for Community Behavior Consulting: Growth born from genuine community need. Many of the major developments this year were not part of an initial plan, they emerged organically as families, schools, and partners expressed what was needed most. We are proud to say that the year was defined not by what we expected, but by how we responded.

One of the most meaningful opportunities of the year was the opening of our space inside Poland North Elementary School. This space came to life thanks to the vision of district leadership, who recognized the growing need for specialized, student-centered environments for children with complex needs, not only within their own schools but across districts throughout the Mahoning Valley.
The Poland North location has allowed us to serve more students than ever before in our year-round and summer programs, provide full-day, half-day, and after-school options, create an environment designed specifically for accessibility, regulation, and learning success, and strengthen partnerships with new and existing school districts.
Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood with an on-site gym and courtyard, it is a space where children of all ages can learn, play, and grow safely and confidently.
2025 also brought the addition of two new Board Certified Behavior Analysts at our Niles clinic. Their expertise, combined with an experienced and energetic team of RBTs, has transformed the site into a vibrant community full of creativity, joy, and collaboration. What once was a small but mighty location now fully embodies our values of community and joy, with a culture that radiates through daily practice.
Our Behavior Intervention Coordinator (BIC) program doubled in size this year. Designed to respond to the statewide shortage and rising cost of BCBA availability in schools, this model places highly skilled RBTs as mid-tier behavior professionals directly inside partner districts with BCBA support and oversight. These Behavior Intervention Coordinators provide consistent, high-quality behavior support, immediate intervention, and a sustainable model for service delivery. Now, more students are receiving effective, compassionate intervention than ever before.
At our Canfield Early Intervention Clinic, 2025 brought meaningful growth—including the development of an outdoor learning and sensory play environment designed specifically for young learners. The clinic maintains a strict early-intervention-only model, serving children ages seven and under, ensuring developmentally targeted programming. With this focus, the team achieved one of the most profound outcomes: Multiple children successfully graduated and transitioned into their neighborhood schools without the need for significant ongoing support. Watching students achieve this level of independence is the heart of Applied Behavior Analysis, and we were honored to witness these milestones.
2025 was also a year of internal excellence. We refined processes, strengthened infrastructure, and achieved Joint Commission Accreditation—a significant milestone that affirms our commitment to high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based service delivery. This accomplishment was made possible by Ashley, Director of Clinical Compliance, Kayla, Director of Operations, and Doreen, Director of People & Culture. Their leadership, combined with the collective effort of our entire CBC team, has reinforced a strong foundation for the future. We are proud that nearly every staff member now holds a national or state license or credential, and we welcomed the addition of a Professional Crisis Management trainer to help support client safety and staff excellence.
Every victory in 2025 was earned through teamwork, collaboration, and a shared belief in what is possible. None of this work was small or simple, but all of it has created meaningful change for children and families across the Valley.
